Here are some frequent questions and answers that the community has had for the Booster Club about team banquets:

Q: Who pays for team banquets?

A:  Booster Club reimburses for coaches to attend the team banquet up to $35 per person. For anything else, the parents and athletes pay for the banquet.

Q: How much should a dinner plate cost outside the school?

A: The dinner cost should be comparable to local venues, approximately $25-$35. Please remember that no student athlete is allowed to be denied admission to a banquet.

Q: Is there an in-house catering option available?

A: We have arranged an in-house catering option through Reggerio’s, Glenville @ (518) 399-6855. Here are the packages they offer:

All packages will include chafing racks, set up, serving spoons and utensils for all guests. We can include cookies and brownies for an additional $2.25 a person. Delivery is $35.00 additional to package price

Package 1 - $15.00 pp: Roasted Italian style chicken, roasted potatoes, green beans/ roasted vegetable medley, toss salad, & rolls

Package 2 - $15.00 pp: Chicken parm, ziti, toss salad, rolls

Package 3 - $17.00 pp: Roasted chicken, sausage peppers, roasted potatoes, toss salad, rolls

Package 4 - $17.00 pp: Pulled pork, roasted chicken, mac and cheese, toss salad, rolls

Q: What does the Booster Club pay for outside of the school hosted events?

A: The Booster Club pays for coaches who are paid by the district and due to our tax-exempt status, teams do not pay New York State sales tax, thus lowering overall costs.

Q: Does Booster Club pay for any supplies for the banquet?

A: The team director can agree to pay for supplies for the banquet. However, the funds will come out of the team fundraising account.

Q: Who should be kept informed about team banquet issues?

A: Parents leading the banquet details should keep the team director AND the coach informed.  No decisions should be made without approval of the team director AND the coach.

Q: How can I get the Booster Club’s tax exempt form?

A: The Team Director should have a copy.

Q: Do you have any venue suggestion?

A: Beyond in-house catering, such as old caf, previous team banquets have been held at:

Mohawk River Country Club

Mohawk Country Club

Canali’s Restaurant

Turf Tavern

City Squires

The Waters Edge Lighthouse Restaurant

Some venues offer a banquet package.
